Your Washow Lodge experience is all-inclusive. When you book, we'll help you plan activities and excursions that interest you most. All your meals are included and are prepared by staff using traditional food with a contemporary flair.

Your itinerary can be open and flexible — we'll help in all aspects of your stay, starting with how you get here.

More than a typical remote wilderness retreat, Washow Lodge is a year-round, architecturally-stunning gathering place.

Your accommodation is a perfect resting spot from activities like paddling, fishing, snowmobiling or bird watching.

We can facilitate camping and have modern tents for your use. We'll help you join in excursions with Cree hunting/trapping families during harvesting periods. You can also overnight in traditional Cree dwellings on James Bay, in the "Heart of the Homeland," and just across the creek from the lodge.

Our staff will help you settle in to the rhythm of the land and sample the culture and cuisine of Canada's subarctic lifestyle experts, the Moose Cree!
